WELCOME TO CASTOR!
Come Dine With Us
We feel it is important to make clear our rules of engagement as we accept the community back into our space. We approach this moment with vigilance. We fully realize and accept the responsibility and risk of feeding our community these times. We have adjusted our approach to service in order to minimize physical points of contact and mitigate the opportunity for cross contamination to occur between parties. We have identified specific task-oriented job roles for our team, and they may not break decorum even at your request. We will do our best to address your needs with care and haste, albeit in accordance with our rigid service and sanitation protocols.
In accordance with the State of Oregon guidelines, face coverings are required to be worn at all times in the public space, except when actively engaged eating or drinking. We encourage you to continue wearing your face covering while seated if not actively engaged in eating or drinking.
Upon arrival to the restaurant, please gather your group outside the restaurant. Send one masked representative from your party to the front door where you will be greeted by the host. Please do not enter the restaurant until greeted by the host. Once checked in, the host will direct you to gather your group at the front door where you will be escorted to your table. Tables will not be seated until the entire party is present. Tables will be set upon your check in.
The host will provide a brief, yet thorough explanation of how service will take place. We request the undivided attention of your group at this time.
If you are concerned about maintaining social distancing while moving on our premises, please flag down a member of our staff and we’d be happy to escort you. If you are seated outside on the patio and need to use the restroom. DO NOT walk through the restaurant. Please walk down the alley and enter through the side door. You MUST practice social distancing while in the alley, and while inside the building. Please pay attention to the traffic signage and floor markers while in the building. Practice proper hand washing after using the restroom. Hand sanitizer will be conveniently located near the restroom hall and at all entrance points to the building.
We have kept ourselves up at night thinking of all the ways to keep you, and us safe. If you have any questions or concerns in regard to our safety protocols or operating procedures, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’d be happy to speak with you.
We thank you for abiding by the rules and helping us to keep our community safe.
With love and cheer,
The Castor Family
